There is a common thread between the pieces I make: the self-affirmation of identity and reflection on the topics that concern and fascinate me... I try to make sense of the world through my paintings.

Daniela is a figurative painter born and raised in the Chilean Patagonia.
Currently lives and works in Chicago, United States.
She has an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art and a B.F.A. by the Finis Terrae University of Chile.
Her work explores themes related to her own identity, largely through the representation of women and children.
She has received prestigious scholarships from NYAA, Fulbright and Becas Chile.
She was one of the ten finalists for the 2019 Bennett Prize, where her selected paintings were exhibited for two years in different museums and establishments in the United States.
She received the Robert Gamblin Painting Prize and won the Eben Demarest Prize in 2021.
Her work has been exhibited and published internationally.
