Héctor Díaz Gallery is pleased to present the second Solo Exhibition of Giclées by Juan Carlos Manjarrez.

The exhibition is made up of 15 Giclees and 1 oil painting.

On Thursday, February 24, Manjarrez made history when his work "Scheherezada's dream II" was auctioned at a record price for Mexico of 15,000 USD, including the Buyers Premium, at the prestigious Mexican house Morton Subastas. The sale was one of the highest among more than 320 lots.

The next day, Thursday the 25th, an article was published in El Economista, celebrating his achievement.

Both the auction and the article reaffirm that Juan Carlos Manjarrez is by 2022 the most important hyperrealist artist in Mexico and one of the most prominent protagonists in Latin America.

His historic achievement at auction is not only personal, but for the select group of hyperrealists seeking a place in the industry, since the warm welcome of this style in the international market opens the door to this artistic current.

Manjarrez is the name of hyperrealism in Mexico today.
